Fitting the cowl gets easier with practice, and #2 was certainly easier than the first. I used Hartwell latches for the fuel and oil filler doors, and glassed in an aluminum reinforcement on the oil door frame. I also reprofiled the upper lip of the cowl opening with micro and a layer of glass to provide a smooth transition for the incoming air.
